My name is Paul Choquette. Photomix was founded in 1974 by my brother, the late André Choquette. He started his career as a journalist for the newspaper “Le St-François” in Valleyfield, Québec. In addition to traditional photography, we covered numerous events together including “Les jeux du Québec”, the 1976 Olympics, and Montreal Allouettes football games.
While André passed away unexpectedly in 2014, I carried on with the tradition. I personally started as a darkroom technician developing films and photos at the Olympic Stadium during the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. Athletes purchased their own pictures on their way out of their respective events.
We specialize in weddings, portraits, fashion, family, pets, couples, model portfolios, and business and charity events. We also offer training and coaching for photographers in French and English.
Photomix uses some of the best equipment available for planning, lighting, shooting, and post-processing. Your satisfaction is our passion. Our work is fully guaranteed.
